Sally, you may not have Duckling. I am a bit attached to her myself!

And well you should be! She's gonna be a real heartbreaker in a few years.

It seems harder to contain my excitement with every hatch. It amazes me how much effort I put into these eggs and I am so happy when one hatches. No biggy, if you scared yourself then you obviously didn't mean it

We've got a big storm coming through our part of Kansas tonight. Took the incubator to a friends house. They have a generator. Grabbed our chicks and am taking them to pops house in case power goes out. They have a fire place. Wish us luck they are thinking 9 inches mixed sleet rain and snow.
