Finally traced what I have of next weeks set. So far 9 duck eggs, 9 turkeys, and a dozen chickens. Hopefully ill get some more turkeys. I'll definitely get some duck eggs though. So happy. Hopefully ill have more little peepers soon. Im refusing to sleep tonight

Oh, okay. I thought maybe you had discovered some ancient secret method for sexing day old silkies!

All the breeders and silkie owners I know drive themselves nuts trying to decipher a sign or signal for sexing.

That is so very true!! I can't tell with feather growth or behavior. The streamers that shoot out the back of their head...plus the crowing.

We are hitting record setting lows around here, but it's only 31 degrees. It's still 53 degrees now. I hope you stay nice and warm!!

CC, it's all your's, friend.
I'm about to watch the back side of my eyelids for the next 7 hours or so
Outen the lights on your way out the door.
G'night, y'all

What? Wait! I didn't sign up for this! :lau
Last I heard it was Ur, then bab, uh Bubbles, then you whites, when Sally wasn't here!
I am definitely not qualified for this! I mean I can turn off the lights, but sheesh!
Good night Whites! :frow

Awesome!!! Last night I got 1 each hour from 2 to 4 am. It made it easier to stay awake!! How many more do you have to hatch this time?

They are serama eggs on day 19. Serama eggs are supposed to hatch on the 19th day though I don't think most do.

Good news/bad news.... They are likely starting/probably going to be a long night. You choose which is good or bad lol!
Keep the humidity up, do you see any movement or hear any faint chirps? With my silkies, I usually hear very faint chirps before I see any pips.

Haha I have been checking like every five minutes! If that means they are going to start now, it isn't bad news. I am happy to have a chick any time of day

I have seen a little rocking and rolling but not much otherwise.
