Ok try taking hot water and wetting a rolled up rag. Could the bator be reading it wrong?

I have all my channels filled with water but the humidity will not go above 45 is that ok or what should I do

Add a dish or two with a wet rag or sponge in it.

I thought maybe so I went and bought a secondary humidity monitor and thermometer and it reads the same. I will try the tag.

I just did and it already climbed to 50. What should I try and keep it at. I have read so many different numbers.

If you added bowls and sponges and it is climbing, you should be ok. It will continue to climb as they pip and hatch. 70 is what I shoot for, a bit higher or lower, +\- 5 should be okay
