Oh, I wanted to tell you guys; I had a microwave that I was going to scrap and read somewhere on here that some have used the motor to make an auto turner. So I opened it up and realized, there's a fan, a light, and a piece of glass from the door that can be used to make a window. All that can be used in a home made incubator. Also, my boyfriend used the silver door handle for a cabinet he made in his workshop So if you are looking for parts, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find an old microwave (CL?) that has a bunch of stuff in it!

SURPRISE!!!!! I got a white marans out of those shipped messed up eggs!!
Thats all, only one was viable with a wacky air cell and it hatched a white marans from that dark egg!!!!!!

and look at my two extremely light Legbar males!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All that culling has finallythem has paid off!!
down to four of my best and look at the babies now! love my legbar sooooo long workin with them!

Now I have to keep more chicks for myself!!!

And one serama is out!!!!

What the legbar? I dont think I would consider them rare anymore since everyone and their brother has them, but I have been working with them for several years and several generations of them and I am trying to get them lighter and more like some of the UK flocks I seen. So I am happy to have set a great roo over the remaining hens I culled to. so white boys means light boys.... time will tell!

I have my lone chick and I bought him 3 pals and I drove an hour to get them. And he is only 4 days old but he hates his new pals and pecks their eyes and screams for me to pick him up and take him away from the 3 other chicks the same age and size as him.

What do I do? Now I feel like I wasted a bunch of money and time. I have them in two separate boxes separated by plastic wrap so they can see each other but it isn't helping.

What should I do? I want him to learn to be a chicken too. But it seems like its already too late. :S he doesn't want anything to do with other chicks, he wants me and to be alone with his thoughts in his own little box.

put them one on one first not all together... see if he can tolerate one at a time
