Ok guys this is my first time hatching with a broody. Today is day 21 and I havent heard anything yet. My hen is young and this is her first hatch also. She has been extremely dedicated to sitting. I only had 4 eggs under her. My question is- Can I peek and see whats going on with the eggs at this point or is it like with an incubator and you risk shrink wrapping chicks that havent fully hatched??? The suspense is killing me!! I even built her a whole new coop so she could be separate from the other chickens when they hatch! SO...CAN I peek...???
That may be. All I know is some of the field trial guys tried Paso's for a while, and went back to TW'sdepends on the line.
I would wait a day and candle let her sit tight now. nice to see you again sweets!Ok guys this is my first time hatching with a broody. Today is day 21 and I havent heard anything yet.
