Finally got off the phone and onto the Computer! Here are some pics I've been wanting to share but couldn't on mobile. Enjoy!




Someone laid their first egg this week!!!

Left to Right: Sexy's Standard Brown Jumbo Egg, New EE blue/green pullet egg (we suspect Girlfeather, but no proof!), and a store bought large egg!

To celebrate I made the girls a "Cake" Which they loooooved.

Here is what the inside of my coop looks like for the little poof heads. They can come out from under the wire, but the big girls cannot get under to them. It has worked GREAT.

The chickens like to roost in front of the window, which we can see from inside the house. I love it!

Bonus picture of the part of kansas where I live: The Flint Hills. It's so beautiful here. Also, we have native wild prairie chickens.

Sally, forget pictures of the mess the ducks made in my basement, Duckling made a mess in my bathroom! Potty training has begun! I have never had this much trouble potty training boys!
First, she does the "I'm pooping" squat. I check her diaper, and it is still empty. Remove the diaper, a poop falls to the floor. She sits on the toilet (I can't find a potty chair I like that is in stock) and tinkles. I tell her how awesome she is, and wait another minute for the BM. It doesn't come (she has constipation issues) so I wipe her, and put her on the floor. I clean up the poop on the floor, and turn to see a big pile behind Duckling... And it is getting bigger. Unfortunately, she was done, and sitting her back on the toilet produced nothing more. She had also peed while standing there.
Okay, so now I know how Duckling rolls. I will settle on a different potty, and really get this potty party started!

tooooooo funny! I have gone through this more than you would ever imagine, I have officially potty trained 5 of my own, 2 nieces and nephews, and 9 other littles here! I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!! but I am pretty good at potty trainin now. Its called lay down the law with mom and dad first, no nice guy treatment, they have to know THEY DON'T HAVE A CHOICE, diaper begone! it doesn't exist anymore! get through a few days of whinin but you get through.... sorry, just sayin it works.....



NOW I AM going fer real this time!!!
