All mammals need it! Humans included!start off with colostrum, then go to regular milk and start getting him to eat hay, sweet feed and hay after 10 days or so (thats what it is for calves) and give him electolytes and vitamins if he is acting weak, la 200 if you suspect infection, he NEEDS colostrum

All Muscovy eggs died late term. Looks like humidity was too high for them.

Yes, we have a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. Our kids are expected between 3/17 and 5/4.CH mike has goats, are you supplementing anything besides milk? @mlmddh

I did an experiment with my Janoel. Had no problem with my 28 day duck eggs upright, all of them hatched, but not one of the 35 day eggs managed to pip, though I think they would have if I had managed my humidify better.
All Muscovy eggs died late term. Looks like humidity was too high for them.
