Help. I posted in emergencies. My rooster has swelling so his eyes are shut, and he is tilting his head and opening his beak sounding gargle/gurgly like he is having trouble breathing.

What are you using now?

Same one; the only one I've ever had. Don't need any other, as long as this one works. I only use it if the hens don't cooperate. Lot easier to let them do all the work.

Husband and I really want to move back to Texas in about ten year (preferably the SA area but I ain't picky). San Antonio allows 3 chickens before needing a livestock permit but my worry is that we won't find a home that won't have an HOA. HOAs in this town WILL NOT allow chickens. Way too early to worry but hey, that's what I do.

In other news, the girls are doing alright according to Husband's cousin. Still waiting on a picture or two, we have photos of the dogs and snakes and those critters are okay. I'm nervous that my paperwork will cause an issue at the border and I won't be allowed back in the country. I miss my animals and while I love my family I do want to go home.

ten years is plenty of time to find a place that you can have chickens!
