I'm back....catching up

You got back just in time for me to say goodnight!

I have to get up in 4 1/2 hours and drive a couple of hours, so I need to get some sleep. Best to do it now than when I'm behind the wheel! I'll get back home, sleep a couple more hours, and go see doc about a shot of Decadron and Rocephrine to knock out this sinus infections and bronchitis. YAY!!!

Hi everyone! I just got myself a brinsea advanced 40 with the autoturner. Do you use the cool down setting later in the incubation? And for how long 60min? Haven't gotten eggs yet. First time not using a broody. Excited to be able to hatch larger quantities....

welcome to our house!! you have a special name we should call ya? Congrats on the brinsea! not sure on the cool down setting, may have to check the manual for that one. I heard many of the new ones have this new feature, I never cool down my eggs during incubation. Except ducks. I suggest getting them local before you try anything shipped. Do you have the manual available? Did you calibrate your thermo/hygros awhile?

two times not very many hatches you gonna have to get busy hire some hens .

In two hatches, I went from 6 birds to 28 birds in less than a month.

I think I'm okay for a little while...

So I ordered a combo thermometer hygrometer from Amazon as well as a standard submersible old fashioned thermometer as backup. They should arrive Thursday. I will do the double check then. I never would have thought to confirm! I am sure I will have a ton of questions. Thank you for the warm welcome.
