Actually, at the time I was in CA, but it was QH's.... Worked the ones fresh off the track into riding horses. Preferred Arabians, however... Smarter by far. When I had a stud farm (and extra $$) that's what I raised. Had a nice mare motel biz.

I am raising these for a friend. They are RIR rooster over BPR hens. There is a hen that is 1/4 RIR and last hatch of 6 chicks had 2 white ones.

Does the cold make them cranky?
NM lost A LOT of dairy cattle in the surprise blizzard. They're thinking upward of 10,000 head, but they'll not get an accurate count until after the thaw. In the meantime the milkers are dealing with diminished production due to frostbite. Sad, sad, sad....

I havent gotten to ride a purebred arabian yet, but the morab I take lessons on got the arab head and the wonderful temperant.... Truly beautiful horses!

Not selling any of these. I just sold the last 2 legbar pullets (to pick up sunday) from a September hatch of 11 pullets out of 19.
