Everything has been fine ever since I started feeding them this feed. I am currently feeding them the Purina Layena laying pellets. I have had them on this feed for about 3 months, and ever since I started with this feed, they haven't been laying as much as they usually do. And I have been hoping that it wasn't the feed, but I have done everything else I am supposed to do to keep the chickens happy and laying. I would assume that I am doing everything else right. I am cleaning their water every other day and putting apple cider vinegar in the water once a week. And everything is clean from their laying boxes to their run.
During the dead of winter chickens' laying slows waaaaaay down. It's due to length of light in the day, temps, and moulting. Chickens are triggered to lay by 14 hours of light a day. We've now passed the longest night of the year and daylight is getting longer. Egg laying should start to pick up soon. I'd hazard a guess that your production is not feed related at all!

y would there be that.

Dude -- SO unbelievable. You seriously don't know why there's a No Fly List? Ever hear of 9/11? Twin Towers? Terrorists on Airplanes? If not, you'd better crawl out from under the rock you're trolling under and see daylight.

yes,but never heard of a no fly list.I'm here watchmen so no one talk about me lol

The No Fly List is why everyone has to go through security at airports with their ID. It's a list of known terrorists that they scan against to prevent further explosions in the sky and hijackings.

Okay. I will keep that feed that I have till it starts to warm up more and see if that is the cause. I really hope that it is! Thanks!

deserteggs22 --

This winter my flock of 9 went from producing 7 to 8 eggs a day to last week maaaybe an average of 2 to 3 from four actively laying. But this week things are picking up and two more birds came into production again.

Your birds also benefit from a period of non-laying. It allows them to recharge their calcium levels.

My flock of over thirty something went from a dozen a day too 1 to 3 a day witch we lost a lot of birds over summer to hawks.
