Wow very nice. At least for here. Alfalfa bales going for $18 and straw hay is down to $9. 16% pellets.30cents per pound

I don't like pellets or crumbles. There is always a lot of waste and it seems like they blow through the feed. I prefer the this mix I run, they don't leave anything on the ground. Ever. I've had several custom feeds made for poultry but the one I run now is the go too. Every now and again I'll have them add a 100 of black oiled sunflower seeds especially around moulting. I also believe there is a lot of trash filler in the OTC stuff. Not to mention what they charge for it.

Bubbles the last time I used the LG I put small river rocks in the water troughs. I don't think it solved the hot/cold spots, but I do believe it helped the temps remain stable. I hand turned and it recovered quickly each time I had to open it.
