Bubbles the last time I used the LG I put small river rocks in the water troughs. I don't think it solved the hot/cold spots, but I do believe it helped the temps remain stable. I hand turned and it recovered quickly each time I had to open it.

But it took FOR. EVER. to warm up initially.

Yes it's more than possible
You prolly see no aircell cuz they fresh
I hope you wash your hands very well before you touch them
DO NOT HANDLE THEM SO MUCH
I dropped one my first incubation batch and killed it

Those that are cracked put some clear nail Polish over the cracks and leave it be!
