Sally, I just crumble up a dried citronella leaf, and drop it in the bottom of the nest box under the hay. Does a good job, but I'd be careful about using more than that. When I get up and running to make an aromatic mix, I plan on adding lemon balm, perhaps some dried lemon peel.
