My rir is dancing for my 13week old silkie. Could that possibility mean the its a hen? He hasn't played my 13 week old ee roo any attention.

My black silkie roo only dances for the white silkie hens. I have never seen it dance for the blue hen. But I would think he probably wouldn't dance for another roo either. So, maybe? Can they tell when they are that young?

eLove the Appenzellers, very handsome birds. I almost got a few last spring, but bowed out when chicks arrived locally and didn't want to wait until July to get them. :/
