Oh!! That's easy I thought maybe I was offending some one. No butchering planned unless the Orpington's don't start laying. They have been moved to greenhouse for now

I feel like since chick season in speedily upon us everywhere I go there's more chick pictures and people planning for swaps, ugh I'm not going to hatch or buy any chicks until March and all of this is just killing me! But that's good because I need to get my breeding pens put together and find a pure ameraucana boy for my lovely EE/OE girls before than.

got pics of them?

FYI, my chick that I had to remove the shell from on Day 24 was put out to the greenhouse brooder. Since he could get out of the plastic dish I had, I was worried he'd get caught by the turner...so, he'll have to thrive to survive. Well, 3 hours later and he's standing up to the rest and faring well. Temperatures are expected to be at or above freezing overnight, so he has a fighting chance.
