Howdy....was a freaking busy day yesterday. Want on thread at all. Sorry guys real life called.
I think I seem the word "tomato math"
Sounds like another conversation I could have contributed too.
But unless someone else out there is willing to sleep with me I gotta deal with real life and the wife sometimes.

Thinking I'll pass on the sleeping with you part; your feet are probably like ice considering where you are.

You ever tried telling "real life" to just "zip it"?

Chickens confining their ranging activity to the paths I blew open...the straight ones

Temps in the 50's here for next several days should get rid of most of the white trash.

Our giant cochin hen appears to have an eye injury. She's been sitting in a nesting box with her head tucked beneath a wing. Her eye was caked shut with dry blood




We used some warm water to dissolve/remove some of the blood



We removed most of the blood. There is one speck in the center of the eye. Its a sunny day, which doesn't help. Looks like an injury without infection. Any other recommendations/precautions? Hoping it will heal quickly.

Thanks reason I didn't move them yesterday I didn't want to slip in it carrying birds out. Will shovel a dry path to reach them. They are in a pen within a pen.

She maybe get pecked & had a blood vessel rupture?
