The chickens were not even panting or holding their wings out.... Quail guy in my neighborhood keeps his outside, and they do wonderful....

I do want to get some, after ducks... And maybe some peas....

Thought about them, but they are stupid and noisy... But they eat ticks, so maybe after I can get my dog trained to ignore em..

they are cool.I had four but the three hens just all of a sudden died.the hens where the black,grey with white speckled.and my male is an all white male

Well i got home from work. Got changed and went up and offed the offender. Got him plucked and there was maybe 15 min of daylight left. So i grabbed the youngsters and threw them in the big coop. Went to check on everybody bout 45 min later and they are all sleeping peacefully on the roosts. they made it way easier than i did.
