Fire Ant Farm
Get off my lawn
That looks awesome @Fire Ant Farm what a great trip. The first roo picture looks like a red jungle fowl.
Is that Angkor Wat in the last picture? I love the terracing. My daughter has some pictures like that. Few chicken pictures though. Most of hers are of elephants, water buffalo and dogs. I'd love to see Ha Long Bay. Was it foggy when you were there?
Yep, I would expect they were jungle fowl. We were hiking through villages in the rural areas, so no surprise - chickens, ducks, and pigs everywhere. Pretty much fended for themselves.
Edit to actually answer your questions: Yes, it's Angkor Wat (all the temples were so amazing, you've got to go if you're able). We were on Ha Long Bay on a mini cruise (two days). It was muggy and hazy on day one, but crystal clear the next day. We were there late November...
Hey! Be nice now. I may be old, but I ain't cold yet. Just 'cause there's snow on the roof don't mean there's no fire in the furnace.

Oh, man, I though I had it bad...Yep.... Now I have:
MPC, Cackle, Murray McMurray, Ideal, Meyer, Mt. Healthy, Welp, Townline, Strombergs, and Hoovers open. Lovely little chicks there!

(Of course, I just put in my order with a breeder...)
I've given up even attempting to keep up in this thread. You all talk so much!
It's nuts, isn't it?!
Once you have them, you find them to be so beautiful. And with the babies and younger pullets, the skin on their necks feels just like baby skin.I like NN and SG

It would figure that the only duck I have considered is the muscovy... And you guys have GOT to stop posting these cute photos - I had just talked myself OUT of having ducks!!!!!!

Well, now that I'm caught up, and everyone's heading to bed, I probably should as well. Long day today, both work and trying to finish the coop. More special quality time with the pneumatic stapler is scheduled for tomorrow...
