It could be trying to pip there, but so far, all of mine have had a round shape. Can you take a candling picture of it?

The hard part for me is knowing when to assist... That is one I'd keep an eye on, but I don't think I'd make any holes in in yet. How are the other eggs doing?

3 have for sure died in the shell. One is still alive, but I'm kind of nervous for it to hatch because 1/4 of the shell is clear and it almost looks like it somehow didn't get turned. I can see one trying to internally pip. One is still alive but no internal pip, and then one has been internally pipped for over 24 hours so I made a safety hole at the tip of its bill because I was starting to freak out about it running out of air.

This is probably easier said than done, but if you can, think of it as a scientific learning experience. When the time comes, do thorough eggtopsies and try to figure out what went wrong. Knowing when to help is tough, and I gotta be honest and tell you that I killed quite a few doing it too soon, though I've never killed any by giving them a safety hole. :D
