for the rest.

Hello, I've got my first batch of eggs in the incubator now. 12 Buff orpington eggs. They are on day 2, I opened the lid to put in my new Hygrometer/thermometer along with my glass thermometer. How long does it take for temp to rise back up?

Yeah if i was a vet and a whole flock was suffering i wouldnt let them suffer because i would have to do extra paperwork. Thats kinda messed up :/
Sad thing is, I only needed blood tests done, but they refused because it was respiratory and the whole flock could've needed treatment. I ended up having to have the bird killed and a necropsy done because I didn't know about the other vet. He was a beautiful lavender Orpington. I'm still upset about it, and it happened months ago.

Quick update here....@Sally Sunshine

The original two surviving Serama eggs from the shipped mushy mess have bit the dust. From the newer shipped mess there are two still developing. They do have horrible saddle cells, so not a lot of hope for them either.

My purple Guineas have just started laying and people are wanting chicks, so.....Pulling out the Mind Reading Bator this weekend!
