Thank you everyone i am home after almost 6 hours in the ER i dont have appendicitis

but i do have a ruptured follicle holy PAIN!!!!

My lovely teenage daughter did turn my eggs for me. so now im off to bed to try to sleep off some meds. Night all

Hello Everyone! I haven't logged on in forever... My chicks are hatching and one was malpositioned, so I helped it after 48 hours, and he pulled himself out of shell, is now stuck to shell and bleeding out of his navel. I'm guessing he didn't absorb yolk sack all the way? How do I solve this problem?

Ouch, I don't know what a ruptured follicle is, but it sure does sound painful!! I hope it isn't too serious - can they tell you why it happened?

I did the ruptured appendix, then waited 3 days before going to the ER. That was some SERIOUS pain!!!

TRIPLETS! Two silkies and 1 GIANT Bielefelder born with 6 minutes of eachother! That was crazy! We are holding for a bit at 8 hatched, 4 pipped, 2 more zipping!
@ronott1- none of the Vital Farms made it to Lockdown, but, I did "lift the lid" everyday for about a collective 30 minutes (wasn't brave enough for 2 hours...). Maybe you could come on here and discuss your "theory"

A follicular cyst begins when something goes wrong and the follicle doesn't rupture or release its egg. Instead it grows and turns into a cyst and ruptures same sings as a ruptured appendix. I'll be right as rain in a few days to a week. Thank you ..My daughter is GREAT she even kept her 9 year old brother
