Just taking pictures! I had to add more water and I was checking for more pips. Why you taking them out!!![]()
Mine are from small local feed stores that buy from local breeders. They've asked me what breeds I have to sell. Mine are much lighter... This is my old ladyWhere did you get them? If from a hatchery or TSC they are production reds. True reds only come from breeders. These are true reds. Reese line.

Body type, color, and tail angle are the best inddicators. If the tails are held high, light red color, and the breast angles up, they're most likely production reds.Wow, I have RIRs, and they are VERY mellow. My Delawares are the most aggressive, but they don't attack the others that badly. There is no roo in their pen, so not sure what they would do to him if there was. I bought these RIR's from several different locations. One is almost 7, the others just over a year. How could I tell if they are production or heritage?
Beautiful birds, Tony. I plan to have some of that same line in the spring...Where did you get them? If from a hatchery or TSC they are production reds. True reds only come from breeders. These are true reds. Reese line.![]()
