Even if you have to cull it, a 100% hatch is awesome!!! BR's seem to be easy to hatch...

I think it's more the incubator and the hatcher I have. Get hatches like this all the time. Not sure about the 18 in the other tray. There eggs I got from a friend. He said some might be a bit old. I see about 3 or 4 eggs that haven't hatched yet. Looks like all the marans hatched but the ameraucanas not so good.

Just take a vine and run part of it under dirt it'll develop roots and you have another grape vine

That's what I've done....use rooting powder. I've also stuck the vine in that rooting gel you can buy at gardening stores.

It seems to do a very good job on cuttings. Of course he brought his to see what I thought without getting me one.

7 hatched in the night and I just helped one get out a little bit ago.(He was really stuck on the membrane for some reason and no matter how much water I seemed to put on it it wouldn't loosen so i wound up just peeling it off.) That makes for 12 total with the four that hatched yesterday and that have now graduated to the brooder! And I still have a bunch of pippers left to go and one I'm going to have to help since he's pipping in the middle.

Had 14 out of 14 hatch. But one has the bubbly bloody yoke sake on its butt. Not sure about that one. I'll give it a few days and see what happens to it. It's the runt. great news! Very nice. Genders?

Woohoo. My runt did the same but is healthy now. Only rooster in the batch! Lol
