How about this than, just wear one slipper and keep switching it between feet?I cant wear slippers my feet get hot![]()
This has got to be the cutest thing EVER!
That's what kept me awake in my first hatch - there was some water in the sponge cup, and I couldn't sleep worrying they would drown...
Yep, thanks so much - I think my migraine was triggered in part by not getting enough sleep during the pipping and prepping for the hatch. Next time I'll remember - if you go to sleep, you'll wake up to chicks!!!![]()
Here's a cute pic from this AM:

Nearly 2000 posts behind this morning and I know I missed something here and there. I just can't keep up with Y'all.
We won our pool league again last night. We're 3 - 0. First team to 9 wins the match and we were tied 8-8 for my final game.
Got a phone call from my daughter yesterday. She was in Sámara, a Pacific surf town in Costa Rica asking advice on where would be best to go next. She said she had just gotten stung by a jellyfish but it was all good. She sent some snapchat videos of the beach, music and dinner with margaritas she said she deserved for taking on the jellyfish.
On this trip, she has hiked up Cerro Chato an extinct volcano next to one of CRs most active, Arenal.
She said it was the hardest thing she's done. 7 hours straight up and then straight down to the crater lake where they swam and after they descended they swam in a hot river heated by the volcano.
They zip lined through the Monteverde cloud forest.
She doesn't send me enough pictures. I'll have to ground her for that.
I pulled off a major coup this week. Well actually it has been in development a long time. There's a Sushi/smorgasbord type restaurant a couple miles from my house. Every single person that works there is Chinese. Cooks, management, wait staff. etc.. I used to eat there at least once a week and sometimes my son, who speaks a little Chinese, goes with me. I made friends with a few of the waitresses and managers. They found out that I raise chickens. So whenever I have a glut of eggs, they buy all I bring with me. I had been collecting eggs for hatching but decided I had too many. I took 10 dozen eggs up there and they bought them all. Then the manager asked what I feed them. Anyway, he offered to give me all the food they have remaining at the end of the night. I dropped off a bin yesterday and I went by after pool last night. There was about 20 pounds of meat, fish and some veggies.
With care, I can supplement up to half of their diet with this free food. I may need more chickens.
Oh my goodness!!! How adorable! This has got to be the cutest thing EVER!
