Unless the temps are spiking ONLY when I'm not looking. I hatched 5 successful hatches with 2 lgs. We accidently killed one, now 2 unsuccessful hatches from the only variable that changed. Maybe it is bacteria. But I sterilize between batches - although I have steadily added aggs to the first bator, so haven't sterlized that one. It's frustrating!!!!!

Before I spent the price of another 'bator, I'd buy a thermo/hygro combo that records high & low spikes, make sure the 'bator's as clean as I can possibly get it, & run a small test batch from my own birds.

Hey CC how's your temps there? Brutal here. Right now not so bad it's zero. But they call for seriously dropping temps throughout the night. Darn you Canadians keep sending us your weather....
