Any chance you could have someone do a fecal float and gram stain on the iffy one? That would be best. If roundworm eggs are found, use Wazine, pyrantel or Safeguard. If you can't get a fecal don, might be best to do her with Safeguard orally at 50mg/kg for five consecutive days... that will rule out the worms I listed in a reply to Chickencanoe. Would also be helpful to see a picture of her poops (regular poop and cecal poop).

Wazine - I read somewhere that it has an efficacy of 80%, but I can't remember where I read that. Keep in mind that non laying adults drink ~5% of their body weight per day, laying hens drink ~13% and growing birds drink about ~18% (from Avian Medicine - Principles and Applications), so keep that in mind.

Disclaimer... I haven't used Wazine before, so not sure how I would use it. Think I'd be tempted to give it orally and repeat in 10-14 days.

Does that help at all?

It does! I don't have a pic of her poops vs. the others, but I just looked, and there are at least some "loose" poops in the roost poop catcher (filled with sweet PDZ). She was looking too peaky for my likes, so she's inside in a crate now where I can watch her. Drank a LOT of water, was pecking at her dry food. Is LOVING the scrambled egg that she got (chicken room service). I'm going out to see if I can get hold of the others to examine them. (They aren't quite as hand tame as she is...)
@daxigait one or less is very bad, two is a little thinner than I like, but might be okay with some of the slimmer breeds. Three is just about perfect, four is too fat, but five? Think the only fives i've seen we're meat birds.

None of the CLs has ever really been very much over a score of 2 at any point - I think it may be the body type. But Paula is about a 1.5 to my hands right now, which is why I wasn't leaving her outside. Her comb seems pale to me as well. Since I have her indoors, I'm going to just go ahead and get the Safeguard and treat her for 5 days as you suggest. She was a solo chick for a while and used to watch TV with me, so she's very hand tame and doesn't mind sitting here watching me on the computer, but I still will see if she'll eat it in scrambled eggs if I can avoid the syringe dosing. (Though I'll have the syringe to back up). I need to get SafeGuard anyway to have on hand before December!

If the others seem otherwise ok, I may preemptively treat everyone else with Wazine just in case. They've never been properly wormed, and I have 4 dozen eggs in the fridge to tide me over. (What do folks do with the eggs you can't eat during the withdrawal period?)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!!!
