Is it Tuesday yet? I don't think I can take any more of Monday! Fridayevening, I thought Max was dying, so I had to make an after hours emergency trip to the vet. Turned out he had bronchitis... on the verge of having pneumonia. Cost me $204, but he snapped out of it overnight. Weekend went by without a hitch. Then Monday rolled around, and it's been one thing after another. I delivered a car last week, but there was a problem with it and it came back today. Took it apart, and a new part I had installed had failed. Can't get a replacement until tomorrow, and they had to have their car. Had to put it back together, and tear it down again when the replacement arrives. GRRR. That was before noon, and when I get home for lunch, my wife is sick and she tells me Max is going blind. I'm like 'Whut???" I look at him, and his eyes are grey!!! We called the vet, and he proceeds to tell us that it's Blasto, a fungal eye infection, which is often associated with bronchitis in dogs. Need to treat him for at least a month, might need drips, and the meds cost over $500 for a one month supply. REALLY??? Call a few pharmacies, and find a 2 week supply for a mere $184. I go to the pharmacy to pick up the meds, and the vet calls and says they found a cheaper source, but would have to order it. Cheaper sounds really good at this time, so I go back to the vet's office and pick up a three day supply to get through until the order arrives... only $72. Road Runner Pharmacy in AZ is supposed to call me and get my info and take payment, but I haven't gotten the call yet. Then my wife goes to the clinic and finds out she has acute sinusitis. Another trip to the pharmacy. Then my step-son calls and says he's stuck in my yard. He followed my direction about not parking on the left side of the driveway since it turns to mush when it rains and he might get stuck, but making a U-turn in that part of the yard after the monsoon to obviously isn't the same as parking. I should have been clearer. I drop everything to go home and pull him out. Since I only had 15 minutes left on the work clock, I decided to just stay home. I don't think I'm going to set foot out the door until tomorrow...

And just where is his own daughter supposed to sleep?
Floor
Closet
Couch
Chicken coop

I'm sorry if this ruffles some feathers, but your brother doesn't deserve children if he's going to upset their entire 11 year old world to satisfy his girlfriend & his own hormones.

I lean more toward the Chinese model where one must get permission from the government to have children. Clearly, some aren't cut out for the 20+ year job. The have them anyway and society pays the price. After all, we would still have an overpopulation problem even if all people were good, loving, devoted parents.

My mother even said the same 60 years ago. She also said that it should be harder to get married than to get a divorce. There would be less divorce.
