Well thr hygro part of the thermo i got a sucks do ill just buy a hygro tomorrow prolly
Nobody ever has had a good thermo on their 'bator. Your best bet is one that tests humidity and temp. I have at least 4 or 5 in each incubator, cuz I don't trust any of them alone. I found a decent one at petsmart in the reptile section.

I set backyard mixed chicken eggs on Monday, February 15th for friends of ours.

Yeah the only prob is i have to order everything online. We dont have as much as a mall here. And the closest thing we have to a pet shop is the grocery store here sells dog bones and chew toys.

Yeah, that would be a problem. The thing is, temp is very important, but humidity isn't really important until day 18. You can tell by the air cell whether you need to add or take away water. For temps - You can use a medical thermometer - same way you take your temp, to work in the 'bator. You should be able to get that at the grocery store.

You can order something more elaborate online and just add it to your bator once it gets there.

I set an incubator full. I think it was 68. Our friends need to replace brown egg layers.
