I don't know... Should I just pull the 2 obviously scrambled ones from the bator? At this point I know I am kinda just leaving them in there to make me feel better... And that's a silly reason to risk exploding eggs..... I'll leave the other one in for another day or two before calling it quits.
What would yall do?

If they are for sure scrambled I'd take them out.

My fun time for the morning is up now. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Alright, I've read that there's no such thing as crested Muscovy ducks. I have a Crested hen that I never planned on breeding because of the risk. Well, I just discovered that half of my eggs in the incubator that I thought were pure Muscovy were laid by my Crested hen. Now what I'm reading makes it sound like it's impossible for a Muscovy and a Crested to breed at all, whether the babies have crests or not, but all of the eggs are developing. I'm seriously confused. I'm hoping that the babies will be alright since Muscovies aren't supposed to be able to have crests anyways.

Sounds like the generator is the way to go for you. My tank is freshwater so I don't run any uv sterilizers, chillers, or anything of that nature. Just air heat filter and lights for me. I'd like to have a saltwater tank someday though:)

They are cool. The wife runs that. Lots of work. More than chickens I think. Do take lots of energy.

The situation of my set:
1/6 out! Day 19! Fully developed and helty!
4/6 external pip 1 in malposition!
1/6 still nothing.
Need opinion abaout the malposition!

Benny, I grab these malpositions out and make sure the pip is clear of fluids an the chick is still alive and not drown, you may need a small tweezers to check the pip. Most times they will get out on there own, but time when you noticed this pip. Congrats on the chick!!! this is not one of the round eggs I had concern for malposition I dont believe? Not sure you saw these from last night?

Went out for an early supper last night...a pretty rare event around here. DD had had a Rueben from there that she claimed was the best she'd ever eaten, so that's what I ordered... been close to 30 yrs, maybe more, since I'd had one.

The sandwich was fine, though a bit on the sloppy side, but I got to feeling bad when we got home. Lasted 'til about 7:30, gave up & went to bed. Must've been something in the Rueben that doesn't agree with me anymore, 'cause I woke up, after 10 hours, feeling fine.

Glad you folks weren't super chatty last night; only about 15 pages to catch up.
I am sorry you got tummy ache whites

hope your feeling much better.

Good morning

Power was off for 2 hours last night during our little storm. Supposed to get snow in the mountains up too 2' hope it did.
Nothing incubating so power out wasn't too bad except fish tanks that would have required starting the generator. Really glad power was back and running in a short time

Hope everyones hatches are going well
Morning Peter, I am glad you didnt have to deal with eggs! Glad to hear it came back on in short time.

Hippie sweets I pray your feeling better today?

Update on Muscovy duckling that hatched yesterday (only day 29): Baby duck is up and running around the incubator this morning. It's definitely active, and everything seems to be fully developed and in the right place. I'm thinking that it's probably blue. As far as I know, the egg came from my lavender pie Muscovy hen and was fertilized by my black pie drake. Hopefully the other 4 eggs will hatch within the next few days. My Seramas are on day 20, and I think I see a pip. What I thought was a pip yesterday turned out to be a piece of fuzz or something, and the chick inside had given up. Hopefully the rest will start hatching soon.
I am so glad she is well!! Good going! Good luck with the serama and the scovy!! and pics of that duckie babes when you grab her!!please!

Good morning are you feeling better with your foot? your to be slowing down and now you do more???

Good morning all. I lost your quote, but congrats on the chicks, Benny!

Nope, nothin'. I did notice when I cracked the clears they had a bit of a musty/icky odor, so that made me just a tad squirrelly... But I'll leave them in there then.
