I think she meant adjust it 10% less than a given number, not run at 10%?

FWIW, I did a "dry" incubation, starting at 35%. The first day I lost 26.9% more weight than I wanted to. It was very difficult to recover, and the setting wandered all over the place as small changes to RH had much bigger impact.

If I didnt have an 800 square foot home and one old dog who is set in her ways, I would have kept those pups.. no tags nothing on them. Or atleast tried to find the owner.. I went to the neighbors and she is taking care of it right now. She likes my eggs. LOL

I agree with everyone - I've had chicks pip at the top, but they corrected themselves as they zipped.  But, that is a BEAUTIFUL blue egg - what kind is it?

I had mine on 57 for the first couple of days but that's what the packet said on my incubator instructions but that wasn't even as high spas it said but the air cells were so small I lowered it down to 40 and I just lowered it down some more to about 34
