Extremely windy nothing like your hurricane but enough to spook them. I will be hatching them the Hal and picking the best structured one to continue the project. The roosters structure is just as important as the hens.

Well, it is officially day 20 now...

I will be on day 20 in the morning, no pips yet though I am pretty sure a couple are tilted different in the egg carton.

It's got to do with the distance between the pelvic bones and the length from end of keel to vent. Lot more as well. I'll pm you some pics from the call of the hen if your interested as I mentioned my iPad is so slow I took pictures of the screen of the more important parts of the book. Only mention pm as they are a little gross as he uses dead leghorns to explain what he's talking about.

Six for length of keel to vent is what you shoot for. Three to four between pelvic. Mine are only at two but they started at one.
