From what I've seen, they can handle confinement. There appear to be several flocks in the vicinity of my friend's town.
I'll try to post a picture of one sitting in the palm of a hand.

@Sally Sunshine should I just unplug the fan since it's not really doing anything anyway?

I probably won't have them long term. Just long enough to breed, incubate and distribute some.
I'll have to keep them at a friend's place till I can get them blood tested after they hatch.

I've been trying to find Quetros for a long time. They're tiny bantams, supposedly silent and lay anywhere from lilac to grey, orange, ochre, pink and green eggs.
I found some in Canada but she wouldn't ship to the US.
