I saw a commercial awhile back where this crazy lady lost her keys, and her husband found them in the freezer. Reading your post made me think of the commercial.

Have you checked your freezer?

Well, I certainly don't have that excuse.

I have checked the toy boxes, her dresser, her changing table, the diaper bag, my tool box, her crb, under the counters, under the couch in her cabinet. And yes, I really have checked the freezer and refrigerator.
I'm in trouble. Not only do I have to pay for a new post office key, but I have to get a whole new lock for the door now.

How could frostbite affect fertility? Frostbite usually happens on the other end of the chicken from the fertility maker.

It doesn't. It is however an urban myth that continues to surface.
It may cause them to breed less if they feel like crap.

edited the post and added your comment, thanks. I was going to suggest it on the back and running to one side, but either way water will be annoying at either end unless she pipes it away.

Most of my coops have guttering. One is piped to the compost piles.

Actually I have, rarely, if I was sure the problem was my (incubator's) fault.

I'm trying to calibrate my digital thermometer and hygrometer but it doesn't have a probe on it so should I just stick the whole thing in the ice water?
