Inquiring minds want to know. Is it a bacterial treatment, like BT, or is it chemical warfare? If it's the latter, be sure to protect yourself. Wishing you the best. Those invasive insects wreak havoc on an environment.
My coffee hasn't kicked in yet. I thought that was a spraddle legged rat!

I raised Pioneers 2 seasons ago. They are the same thing as Rainbows. They grew out well. I held back the smallest pullet and she became the earliest and best laying of all pullets hatched that season. She earned a spot in my permanent flock and got to play in the gene pool. Her daughters are beautiful, and also wonderful layers. When you process your meat, be sure to let it rest for 3 days before putting it in the freezer. If you don't it will be quite rubbery. I'm still working the learning curve on processing.
