I would go so far as to say that plastic has a poor insulation factor.

The temps seemed to hold better than the styrafoam. My house temps stay pretty even. I'm thinking I had some type of bacteria. I have NO eggs incubating right now. Tonight I'm going to set eggs in the Death Bator and eggs in the LG (after sterilizing the 'bators and dipping the eggs). I'm going to use the same bators for the entire hatch for each set (no staggered batches) and we'll see which one has the best hatch rates.

I ordered a Brinsea 40 advanced with the humidity pump. I have eggs coming for the easter hatch. I'm hoping I'll have the Brinsea set up and running by then.

Ok, sadly my gimpy chicken appears to have had a stroke. It's right side is no longer cooperating. I'm going to have to cull it, or rather I"m going to ask someone else in the family to cull it for me.....
