Normal room temp is good, and the yolk won't stick if you haven't incubated at all. It's like putting eggs in the fridge, the yolks are held in the middle of the egg by the Chalaza, so no need to turn them yet. Once the embryo starts growing and is big enough, it'll touch the sides, and then have a chance of sticking. Till then, there's no point to turning.Hi,
When storing hatching eggs for incubation, what's the ideal temp for storage prior to incubation? I am turning them (tilting in the clean carton) a few times a day so that yolk doesn't stick...this is my first time to actually hatch on our own...thanks!! ( right now they're in our garage because it's dark & not cold but not hot. (I'm in TX)
