Nothing yet. And there is still no update on my two eggs shipments. One took 7 hours to make a 45 minute trip through SC though.......

Day 21 for my first batch that had to be treated. I sure hope they hatch.
My shipped chicks arrived and the post office called at 6:27 and then someone else at 7. I guess all those peepers got attention. My friend has been sent to get them.
Look what was by the dumpster at one of our warehouses yesterday. I am not sure yet if I am going to use it as a shelf, or cut the top layer and make a two-story coupe that shares a split run for breeding. Like the old saying goes one man's junk is another mans treasure.

Emergency!! I turned the goose eggs and there's peeping!! This is it! We're going into labor!! 5 internal pips!

I just sent that to my husband. I went to turn the goose eggs one last time because lock down was supposed to be around noon and was greeted with duckie chatter!! Holy poop!! Yes I just candled, marked, and upped humidity a few hours early! :

So do I, Emu definitely have a look all their own. I like being alive, so its probably a good thing Cassowary are out of my budget and hard to get ahold of.

Cassowary are like velociraptors with that long middle toe that they try and stab you with than rip out your insides.

It is a Emu or a Csuary chick?

Emu Cassowary are hard to find, and super expensive. I'd love to have some though. I'm trying to convince DH that Ostriches should be next

They have quit a powerful kick especialy the male Cassuary it have a knife like spure in its leg, and he can kill a human very easy!
