Look how big my three- week- old chicks are!

Just got back a bit ago from the PO. The emu eggs look to be in great shape. The seller packed them very well. They were each wrapped with newspaper and placed in their own individual cardboard box. Then they were inside the big box, which was firmly packed with shredded paper. It also looks like the PO was fairly gentle with them.

They're beautiful! Pictures to come, if my husband ever gets off the computer. I can never get pics to post from my phone

Is it gonna be OK if one of my incubating eggs pipped underneath instead of on top of egg

@shellikirbey if its chirping it should be fine just time it
Im so excited, I have two incubators running, 24 eggs total, candled at one week yesterday and all of them are veining. 12 are shipped eggs, and the other 12 local. Can't wait to see what happens!

awesome image!!! congrats on the fertile! I added you to our list!! @angelikimarie

Quote: your fine let it go if its chirping!

I have chicks hatching....on time! Apparently, the temp drop didn't affect the chicken eggs as much as the turkeys. 2 out so far, more pipped.

HELP! I have questions!

#1 DO MY AIR CELLS LOOK OK FOR DAY 18?
If not, what can I do???

#2 HOW DO I PUT WONKY CELLS FOR LOCKDOWN?
(lying down? Upright in carton? Options 3?)
@Sally Sunshine @Cynthia12

Blue Egg Mixes:
(this is the wonky egg-#7)

Crested Cream Legbar:

Everyone is still looking great! I had several kickers, but most were hunkered down getting ready for their big debut!

@venymae I cant remember what hatch this one was? I am looking for images of good air cells from the thread, and I forget how this hatch went! I think this was my eggs?

alright yall what do i need to look for in shipped eggs as far as detached air cells and procedures to fix them
@moomoodiddy whats happening in your bators?
Countdown until Thursday (Day 21) is on, candled this morning and had a couple small air cells and a couple that looked nice and big. Anything I can do to help out the small air cells at this point? (or assist on hatch day?)
@cliffoco how have you been? missed you around!

I just had 2 silkies hatch that pipped on the bottom - We never actually saw the pip until they started zipping. They hatched healthy.  I'd leave it alone and give it time.
[/quote]. OK..yea I'm afraid to get in it..I have two pips on two eggs on top and all thirteen are wiggling.

Correct. I have 8 on day 22 there were 10. One has hatched and one was Dead In Shell (DIS) I'm not seeing or hearing anything from my 8 either.

Some folks count the hours. I haven't done that yet but I do know I set mine very late in the evening so...
