We have brown eggs and let me tell you, those are prolly the most hardest thing to candle.

Tell me about it!!! I end up candling the air sacks and throw the clears away on the 18th day of incubaton

Yesterday, I called the post office to see if I could pick up the package. They said it wasn't in their system yet. I said UPS shows it was delivered. She said packages sit out back until the PO closes then they sort the UPS packages. She said to check the tracking # after 7:30 and I should input divert instructions to have the package put on the supervisors desk. I checked every 15 minutes until I went to bed at midnight, it was never updated. It wasn't undated until 9:30 this morning. At that time, I tried to input divert instructions and the system told me there wasn't sufficient time to change the delivery. So, we went by the post office when they opened. They told us the box was out for delivery. If it did not fit in the box, they would leave a green delivery notice and we could bring that back tomorrow to pick up the medicine.

There are instructions in the sorting room at my post office to prevent ANY packages going out for delivery to my address. The box NEVER should have gone out for delivery. Yet, I still have to wait 24 hours to pick up something that should have been delivered on Thursday. How inept can not one but TWO companies be?

FYI I found out that 30% of Fed EX and UPS small packages they outsource to the USPS.

@Sally Sunshine fence is finished for now. All toys are out of boxes and measurements line up. here's the cut out for the sheet of plywood for a 28x20x14 box with a 24x16x10 interior.

The plywood is 1/2" cdx and I have 1" thick sheet of foil faced foam insulation, giving a solid 2" of insulation prior to the planned lining of the interior.

2 inches from top of outside of box to interior lights to be mounted just under that and to the sides of viewing window. I now understand to mount my control on the outside of box. There are currently no holes for any purposes so the sensor node will get its own hole as well as the fan and Turner.

@Sally Sunshine minimal progress today. Just sealed up the light wires.
Have the pieces cut to close up all the loose stuff on the bottom left as well. Should all come out one hole when said and done.

Almost there. Next step, sealing the interior of the lid and attaching. Then it's on to vent holes.

I have several autosexing breeds:
Cream Legbars - blue eggs
Rhodebars - light brown eggs
Bielefelders - medium brown eggs
Welbars - dark brown eggs
Olive Eggers from legbar x welsummers - olive eggs

The olive eggers look like legbars, the rest all are true to the pics you can find all over the internet.

I have an eclectic mix right now as I explore. I will be keeping RIR and BR, for sure. My explorations include ccl, Welsummer, OE, EE, SLW, Ameruacana, blue black splash EO, sfh, production birds Leghorn (w&b), golden nugget, rainbow, red ranger, ? , and the last chicks from my original flock two black sexlinks(LO over br) and a RIR EE cross.
