It rained hard here a couple nights ago, but mostly wind. We still need more rain.
Yeah, there are other cats that we know of in this area, but most keep to themselves. There are plenty of deer in the area right now too. No great reason for that one to be after easy food. I keep the dog close at night so hopefully if it does come down to an actual fight, I will be there to help the dog.

Here she is. About 140 pounds and a few inches taller than my Dobies.

No,when ms SALLY sent me it,calibrated when there was glass on the window when the chicks started hatching it read the same.

So are the bubbles actually on the 'bator window, or is it one of those filter thingies you can put over photos?

Yes. All the time!
awwww the poor thing!! your awesome Blooie!!
Nah, foolish would be more like it! But I had to try and he did thrive. Scout was the very first chick I used Mama Heating Pad on and it exceeded my wildest dreams. When we put him back out in the coop, we moved his entire brooder pen (a wire dog crate) out there, built his cave in it, and wired the door so he could fit in and out but the Bigs couldn't follow him. Even when it dropped to -4 he was snug in his cave. That was my Eureka moment and I've never looked back.

so awesome!!!
[@=/u/296003/Akrnaf2]@Akrnaf2[/@], any suggestions on how to do Safeguard and ivermectin solubility experiments? -Kathy
Hi Kathy I am not shoure that I understood your quastion, can you please explain? (You want to chek the soulubilty of the 2 materials? )
I want to check solubility of the two different drugs in water, so two experiments... Thought you might have some suggestions for me. -Kathy
Do you have the name of the solvent in this two? If it is an hydrophobic material it wont be solobel in water! And to make it colloidal suspension you need to add an emulsifier and that can cange the active material fitchers!
Vas ist das "cange" ? :lau
Yes, I have some in my bator right now that were washed & refrigerated for days & are scheduled to hatch in 5 days

Wow she's beautiful. How's she doing for extra barking? That's perfect terrain for cats Our cat does not bother domestic animals far too many deer here. If she's even around anymore

You didn't miss it, COChix - I forgot to answer you!  I have 9 Carolina Blue Sex Link Easter Eggers coming (have I ever mentioned how much I love Easter Eggers??) and then a dozen Ultra Rare Assortment, my gift from @LocalYokel
Being shipped tomorrow and I'm getting nervously excited.  Ken is outside right now cutting the portal doors in the brooder pen.  This is really happening!!!

Woooot woot I love my jack. Bestest brother ever.

I'm busy with so much of everything, it's just not funny anymore! I have not seen or had any trouble with the cougar since the LGD dog chased him over the hill. The gov trapper has a trap out for one causing problems about 7 miles away, up on the mountain. So quite possibly the same one. I would like to get some of these little Seramas out of the house! The weather has been all over the place! We've had tornado strength winds the last two nights.

is she a Pyreneese? We lost ours to bone cancer a few months ago... we are planning on getting another soon, She would let the free range hens eat the crumbs out of her food bowl, we would have to chase the chickens away for her because she was so protective of them she wanted to feed them her dinner!
