While I'm here...... Anyone else want to edit their part of the article? I really can't keep it updated without help...... Just edit the part with the names in blue below the spoiler, right at the bottom of the article. If you are not there, just tag me because that means you are in the spoiler and the spoiler is NO TOUCHY.

This is with my heels in the water, looking toward main camp.

Same yurt, just around the bend a little. My van is parked at the top of the slope. Water would have to be VERY high to reach main camp. Though it makes me wonder if that slope is man-made, or part of the 100-year flood plain.

Can I come live in a yurt please? one WAY above the water though.

Good morning @Sally Sunshine and everyone else!

I might need to set some more chicken eggs to keep myself occupied, I still have one incubator empty (and I'm not ordering anymore Emu eggs

)

NOW THATZSSS a CUTE CHICKEN!! I will take five please!

This is only my second hatch and I candled my 10 cream legbar eggs today (day 7) with a strong LED candler, but the shells were so thick that we couldn't see anything (apart from one egg which was fertile and had a noticeably thiner shell. Will the thicker shells make it harder for them to break out?
I never have issues with CCL

Day 9 -- All are looking good. If I get another today I'm dropping six more in.
AWESOME!!!!

LOL SALLY you would HATE those yurts so hard. :lau :lau

Two years ago we ran elec so the kids could run a fan to circulate air at night. They were basically trying to sleep in styro still airs with lockdown humidity. :lau We use them for our "survivor" camp. They cook two meals a day out over the fire (we let them come in for lunch) and they're always the funniest, dirtiest, smelliest kids. :love
