Well as it is not quite twelve weeks old, I would like to give it a chance at least. They are eating Purina starter grower, so they should be getting what they need, right?
Yeah, you'd think so; Purina's supposed to be good feed, and well respected. I know, after what you've just been through, that you don't want to hear this, but it's entirely possible that there's something not quite right inside, something she was born with. I think Joey's right, though, about the flock dynamic changing when a bird is re-introduced...I've seen it here.
 
Thinking out loud here, could you hang something like a bell around its neck to distract it?
will the others peck it?


Hello all you lovely people! Well, I have 4 new chicks!  Two of the eggs have not done anything, so I wonder it they will hatch at all...but I have 4!

I have 14 in lockdown that have started hatching so I am with you on the nail biting stress brigade.

well, as soon as I finish cleaning and spraying down the other two coops and pens I will move it.

I will have a few hatching soon to and already have two sleeping in bed with me on a towel ha

I geuss I really get to my chickens as pets even though I raise chickens I don't eat eggs
