Been very busy lately but have been trying to stop in and keep up with you all here when I can
You guys are killing me with the duck pics lol.
Banti- you're not alone!!! I've been wanting Calls myself but my husband isn't on board with it just yet. We have tons of predators roaming around and the ducks would require another Fort Knox coop and run and pool. Lots of work and expense. (Our 3 chicken areas are fully enclosed with double layer fencing, buried welded wire 2' around the perimeter, covered runs and raised coops with locks.)
I've got eggs in the bator again lol. I set 12 of my Marans due to hatch 4/1, and set 9 shipped Lavender & black split lav Bantam Cochins and 5 more of my Marans this week. They should hatch 4/5.
I just candles my day 18 Ayam Cemani Eggs!!! They are all looking strong! One has a slight saddle cell, but it looks like his head is at the lowest part of it. Now here's the hard part. I have all my other eggs in my IncuView that hatch later on. Should I shut off auto turning and hand turn other eggs? Or fire up the Farm innovators incubator and put the eggs in there instead?

Don't believe a word that Banti tells you about us ganging up on her last night & this morning. She just went in & changed everything around so it'd look like we were. We were actually trying to talk her out of getting ducks, but she was having none of it

You know the twelve step program? You need to admit you have a problem before you can overcome the problem?
You have no ducks, so getting ducks means you do not have a problem to over come!

You should be able to get a claim as it took 10 days, in addition to it being crushed.
That also makes the eggs 10 days older . You always send super fresh eggs so maybe they will hatch.
