Quick hatch update,
The first batch ~ 30 chicks (o'shamo and others) from yesterday have already gone (- and I forgot to get you guys a chick pic -sorry).


These just popped out this morning:

This guy hatched just now, and there are still a whole bunch more second wave - the larger eggs and strangely the Swedish black hen chicks that are quite small eggs. .

This guy is from the new import of BCMs from GFF. Nice brown eggs and super big fat chicks.

So far I immediately peroxided it and then polysporin. I have fish mox- I'm going to put her on a five day course just to be sure. She is so sweet.

My hubby made babylon and her 14 plus babies a new private home lol so that way she wont have to worry about the other hens messing with her babies , and they are getting all settled in

sounds like a very good plan BJ sorry about the dang cat! keep us up to date on her progress..... do you want to see the head posts of hmmmmm was it saris dax or hmmmm idk someone had a head scalping!! let me see if I can find the posts and updates chick did fine! was it HAW12? let me see I cant think!!! I am a bit distracted
