I made sure the door to the divider was open wide this morning. I was going to take away the divider completely today, but it's below freezing again. Despite the heat lamp, I want to keep a wind block up for the chicks.
LOL! I know someone with chicks that are about a week younger than mine, and they're already on the roost with their mama. I just can't bear to make them grow up yet! LOL!

Thanks! I have considered giving you some coffee, but I'm having a hard time finding images that I like. Not to mention, it's getting very confusing trying to figure out which image is which person's on my phone.
I am sure you will have your own coffee soon though!
As for the neighbors, I sure hope it ends soon too! I really want to get that coop built, and be outside when the sun is actually up. I can't even tell if my chicks are fully feathered or not. Granted, they should be at 5 1/2 weeks and outside.

Water beds are nice. A wedge pillow might work.

I know....nothing like crawling into a heated waterbed in the middle of winter....especially here where it gets below zero on the winter....I'll look into better pillows....I mentioned the acid issues with my old doctor...then they kinda stopped for a while. Now that I've put on a few "winter" pounds it's back again....now it's almost every night.......it seams to happen when I lay on my stomach....I used to sleep on my side but my shoulders hurt so bad now I can't....

No it was an attack duck. At least that's what the sign said. She's had some bad experiences with fowl attacking her so she looked up attack ducks.
