Yes, 110V. When I watched the Rush Lane tutorial for the STC1000, it looked like he was using some sort of narrow gauge wire that he just had to strip to expose the 2 end wires. I thought it came out of the STC box as he was setting up. We've got 2 old computer bodies full of wires, miscellaneous wires in the shop, and hubby has a whole drawer full of gadgets that might yield the right stuff. Also have several light duty triple tap extension cords. I was going to use one of those for the power supply for light bulbs and to plug the 12v, converter for the fan into, as Rush shows. I'm just not sure how heavy or how light they need to be. Thanks in advance. I just went out and fed birds, wiped out... may be done for the day at the rate I'm moving!

Was out feeding birds myself. There are many different ways to wire these, but I would wire the computer fan to run all of the time. You want it to work when the lights are off too. You can use the triple tap or just a good old lamp cord. Without knowing the design and layout of the bator, it would be hard to recommend which way to wire it. You seem to know how you want it, so if you need help or advice you can always pm or @ me.

I need advice. I have been watching aircells super close this hatch in order I learn more about how and why humidity effects them. I'm on day 19 and only about 50% have started to draw down. Is this normal or what should do. Humidity is currently 52%.temp is 98.4

Now that I'm done trying to be funny, raise the humidity some. Other than that, there is nothing wrong with all the eggs not being drawn down.

The only question I have is how heavy ga. wire to go from STC to power supply, and heat source. I'm using triple tap, b/c that's what's handy. That way, if I need to install an other fan, I'll have a ready outlet. My first build was similar, but used a bimetal thermostat. Hoping the STC will be more reliable, and the overall design will provide more consistent heat levels throughout the box.

I was wondering about only 50% of eggs drawing down. Wouldn't raising humidity not allow draw down?

Draw down happens as they absorb the moisture in the shell I think. Raising humidity wouldn't hurt if it's during lockdown. humidity should be around 60-70% anyway.
