Thanks for the birthday wishes. The DH made breakfast before work and had it waiting for when I woke up and 2 chicks are out, 2 are zipping and 2 are pipped! It has been good morning!!

Sounds like a great way to start your special day. Happy Birthday!

Is that a good thing?

Some good; some not so much. More importantly, how about your's All your friends & family still o.k. after the 2nd bombing on Wednesday?
At least the authorities know the S.O.B. responsible; I hope they can nail him before he harms / kills more innocent people.
Out thoughts and prayers remain with you.

Not a huge loss. They promised me work on Mondays and Thursdays, at minimum wage (about ten euro). They cut my hours in half (only Thursday work), kept me in busywork instead of doing anything useful, and the kicker is they didn't pay me for almost three months and probably wouldn't have at all if I hadn't kept asking about it. I've been sick as a dog, and all I asked was for maybe a stomach pill for my nausea so I could work, but they would send me home. This happened twice, and today I told them I had spat up due to me having a throat infection and coughing so hard (not made easier by the fact everyone there smokes and I'm very allergic). The wording (if I remember) was "go home now, and you don't have to come back". They were very insistent that I go home, so I left and I say good riddance. What they were doing was HIGHLY illegal and my husband and I are contemplating informing the tax office for an investigation.

Everyone is fine, praise the gods, but I am extremely angry and PO'd that I lost my job because i am ill. I am only ill because of the lack of proper heating, being forced to go into and out of a walk in refrigerator, and the fact that they allow other employees to smoke on the job/call the trainees idiots for not knowing how to do something they have never done before.

I'd contact who ever needs contacting to nail them to the wall.

So I think I found the source of many worming misinformations, they're in Gail Damerow's Chicken Health Handbook. No wonder so many people keep worming their chickens these ways. Sigh...

Speaking of which, what I came home with yesterday is for use on cattle & horses, not sheep & goats..I didn't notice that before. I even told TSC that I need the one for sheep & goats. I'm afraid to use it before being sure it's safe for chickens, obviously. the bag says .5%, which I assume is the amount of active ingredient; not sure what the sheep & goat percentage is.

Jeffers has it, intended for goats; doesn't mention sheep at all. I've already emailed them & asked if they have the same thing the vet suggested. If I've not had a reply by 12:30, I'll take what I have back to the vet & get her take on it.
