No kidding! I carry a chain saw with me in the woods, hoping to someday find the tree with the sign giving the dates of the various seasons on it.

We were not as lucky in Joplin Missouri. We lost over 25% of our city, 160+ people, and it was and EF-5 grinder with winds over 200 mph. It knocked an 8 story hospital 8" off its foundation. We were blessed that they moved graduation to the college that year because it hit a half hour after graduation finished and part of its half mile path where everything was flattened and ground into toothpicks included the high school.

Tornadoes-always a sad event when they touch down. The day ours hit I was on my way home-15 minutes from home-the sun was shining and the sky was blue-and then the police stopped me on the highway saying I had to turn back-that my home was probably gone. I was lucky; my home was 2 blocks from the destruction.

Sorry that your town was hit so hard.

Well I can see why someone would want to upgrade their membership especially if it means no ads! I've seen that quite a few people just in this thread have become "Golden Feathers". I've been thinking about it, not so much to get away from ads, but to help support the site.
