Good morning everyone!!

So put my 6 eggs in lockdown the day before yesterday , they were all still moving well i been hovering on and off waiting for pips , well yesterday i was doing some extreme spring cleaning and when my hubby got home he started welding on his home made smoker ....long story ,short a couple hours after he started working on his grill i went to check on my bators and i realized the temp was wayyyy low humidtiy was way up on the secondary therm , so i look at the built in one and it was blank i was like wth!! Then it hit me, luckily one bator is empty i havent set my april hal eggs yet but i dont think my lockdown eggs will hatch :-( my hubby was so sorry he didnt realized he had unplugged my incubators to plug in his welder :-( i got them both plugged in again and the eggs are still in there in hopes that maybe they will still hatch
He's able to weld with a smoker?

How hot is that thing?

I can email him & see if he remembers where he got the idea; then post it here.

BTW, I tried, half a dozen times this morning, to post several pics of the ongoing coop build, but couldn't make it work. Any help?
I wish I could, but I am mobile so I just click the image icon, select gallery, select my chosen image, and submit it.
I hope he remembers, and thanks. My sister and her husband built these neat raised bed with pind liner, PVC piping with holes, and a PVC pipe with a cap that they add water to the bed every week or two. I would love to build a couple of those just for the water savings.

:fl. How do you miss a Bator?
Those are endangered aren't they? Have you had them before? What are they like?

Well i have my bators set up in the addition part of the house and off the addition is our laundry room the only room with the close outlets so i run a power cord and a power strip from the laundry room to the addition cause when the addition room was built no outlets were added , so the bators are about 50 feet from where their power comes from , and he was running his cord through the one window and didnt realize the one cord he unplugged was the bator cords

That's Little Girl. She's one. Maybe a little dark, but such a sweetheart!
She is very pretty. I read that since they have feathers around the wattles they have very little issue with frost bite. That would make sense as far north as they come from. Good luck.

Several people on here have had the idea to label their bator cords. I've seen it happen here quite a few times with bators, turners, or both. Sometimes people get on "missions" and tend to miss things. Maybe some red tape or something on the bator ext. cord where it plugs in to the wall as a gentle reminder.

Bummer, I hope they still hatch well. We will hope it just equalled a broody break.
